===== Your profile =====

In **Settings** you manage:
  * **first and last name** – how fellow travellers see you,
  * **profile photo** (camera, gallery or delete),
  * **birthday**,
  * your **ShareCode** for invitations (show, as QR code, renew) → [[en:sharing|Sharing]],
  * **display currency**, **24-hour format**, **notifications**,
  * **Your plan** and subscription → [[en:premium|Premium]].

Email and password: “Reset password” sends you an email.

===== Which data is stored where? =====

**AI features:** when importing a booking or using the travel assistant, the content in question is sent to an AI service for processing. ID documents from the vault are **never** sent to an AI – their text recognition runs on the device.

**Ads and location:** ads are requested without your trip data. The app only uses your location when you need it (e.g. “Save here”, nearby search).

===== Anonymous account (joining via link) =====

If you join a group trip without an account, Explority creates an **anonymous account** in the background. The group trip works with it; your own trips stay on the device only, and purchases, AI features and groups are disabled. If you register later (email, Google, Apple), all memberships are kept.

===== Signing out =====

**Settings → Sign out** removes your account's data from the device; it remains in the cloud. Pending changes are sent first.

===== Deleting your account =====

**Settings → Delete account** deletes your account **permanently**:
  * your own trips with activities and images,
  * your memberships in shared trips,
  * profile, profile photo, ShareCode and all local data.

You must confirm the deletion; for security the app may ask for your password or Google sign-in again. **Please cancel a running subscription separately in the App Store or Google Play** – deleting your account doesn't end it automatically.

===== Your rights =====

You can view and delete your participant details in group trips at any time (“Delete my data in this trip”). For further requests please contact the office named in the privacy policy.
