====== Notifications ======

Explority gets in touch when it matters for your trip. There are two kinds:

  * **Reminders** – scheduled by your device itself; they arrive **without internet** and without an account.
  * **Push notifications** – sent by the Explority server, e.g. for invitations or messages from trip leaders.

The app only asks for permission after explaining what it's for. Everything can be configured under **Settings → Notifications**.

===== Push notifications =====

  * **Invitations** to a trip and “… accepted your invitation”.
  * **Group trips:** new **messages** from the leaders, **itinerary changes** in the next 48 hours, reminders about **missing details**. (Can be turned off with the **Group trips** switch.)
  * **Requests** for offers and public trips, acceptances and rejections.
  * For leaders: a notice before participant data is deleted.

Tapping a notification opens the matching trip, activity or screen directly.

===== Not getting notifications? =====

  - Allow notifications for Explority in your **device settings**.
  - In the app, switch on the kinds you want under **Settings → Notifications**.
  - For push notifications you must be **signed in** or have joined a group trip.
  - On iPhone: check Focus / Do Not Disturb.
  - Open the app once – reminders are rescheduled on launch and after changes.
