Adding a flight

In the trip tap “+” and choose Flight.
Enter the airline code (2 characters, e.g. BA) and the flight number (e.g. 117) and check the date.
Tap Search: departure and arrival airport, times (local time), terminal, gate, aircraft type and airline logo are filled in automatically.
Save.

No result? Charter or very short-notice flights aren't always found. Simply enter airports and times manually – the flight works normally, just without live data.

Live status (Premium)

With Premium (or in group trips), Explority keeps your flights up to date while the app is open:

Status: on time, delayed, departed, landed, cancelled – with a coloured badge.
New times: delays are shown next to the scheduled time; your itinerary moves along.
Terminal and gate as soon as they're known.
Updates become more frequent the closer departure gets (in the last hours roughly every 15 minutes).

In group trips the trip leaders fetch the live data; all participants receive the update via sync.

Reminders and alerts

Alert	When
Online check-in	when the airline opens check-in (usually 24 hours before; some airlines 23 or 30 hours; at night not before 7 am)
Boarding	15 minutes before boarding, or 1 h 15 min before departure
Delay / change	from 15 minutes of delay, new times, terminal or gate change, cancellation, landing

Configure under Settings → Notifications → Flights. → Notifications

Tips

Enter your seat and boarding pass details in the flight's personal booking details; scan the boarding pass barcode or import it from Apple Wallet. → Activities
On iPhone, widgets and the Live Activity show your next flight on the lock screen. → iPhone, Android & more
The quickest way to add the return flight: long press → “Create return trip”, then adjust flight number and date.
