Explority is free to use. The rule of thumb: what the app calculates on your device is free. What costs money every time it's fetched (AI, live flight data, Google place data, weather forecast) is Premium.
| Free | Premium |
|---|---|
| up to 2 trips at the same time (past trips and group trips don't count) | unlimited trips |
| all activity types, day plan with map and travel times | edit trips |
| prefill, duplicate, return trip, quick entry | AI import of bookings and travel assistant |
| Wallet and calendar import, GPX | live data for all flights |
| place search via OpenStreetMap | Google place search with phone, website, opening hours |
| current temperature | 5-day weather for your destinations |
| multi-day journeys with up to 3 sections | unlimited sections |
| checklist suggestions, CO₂ balance, feasibility check | optimise the day's route, AI packing list |
| up to 3 documents (max. 2 MB) per trip | up to 5 documents per activity |
| travel documents vault (always free) | share trips with friends |
| with ads | no ads, extended statistics |
Your current plan is shown under Settings → Your plan.
| Way | Applies to |
|---|---|
| Explority Pro – subscription monthly, yearly or one-off lifetime | all your trips |
| Premium trip (one-off purchase) | one of your own trips – for all fellow travellers; doesn't count towards the trip limit |
| Unlock a shared trip (one-off purchase, cheaper) | one trip you were invited to – just for you |
| Group trip | leaders and participants of that trip (paid by school, club or tour operator) – ad-free |
| Provider account | tour operators always have all features |
Current prices are shown in the app; App Store or Google Play display them in your currency.
If you have more than 2 planned trips (e.g. after signing in on a new device), Explority shows a notice. You can then get Premium, delete individual trips or buy a trip as a Premium trip – it then no longer counts towards the limit.
Ads only appear in the free version and never in group trips, in the final survey, on computers or in the browser. Ads are requested without your personal trip data. The consent prompt (and on iPhone the tracking prompt) appears on first launch.
